It feels like SummerSlam 2018 was just yesterday, but the countdown to WWE’s next pay-per-view – Hell in a Cell – is already underway.
The build-up into the event actually started the night following the’biggest event of the summer’, together with Braun Strowman formally announcing that he was cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase on Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship.
That bout will take place within the dreaded cell arrangement, as will the match pitting Randy Orton against Jeff Hardy, who’ve been locked in a brutal feud since the Viper’s return in July.
Also announced are two SummerSlam rematches, firstly Ronda Rousey will defend her Raw Women’s name for the first time contrary to the preceding holder Alexa Bliss, and AJ Styles will once more defend his WWE Championship against Samoa Joe.
And the escalating feud between Daniel Bryan and The Miz will warm up as their wives, Brie Bella and Maryse, will combine them for a mixed tag-team game in San Antonio.
The New Day will also shield their newly-won Smackdown Tag Team belts against The Bar or among the Usos, Sanity or even Rusev Day, making it a six-match card for now.
It is shaping up to be an entertaining show, and also the ancient gambling odds are released by SkyBet.
Judging by what they’re offering on the games up to now, it seems like none of the significant titles will probably be changing hands.
